AF Jones Interiors worked with CSK Architects across the full interior of this new-build to realise an eclectic and unique concept for the client. The completed build included a basement, a pool and mezzanine level and two cantilever stone staircases all contributing to a mix of styles encompassing medieval, classical and the rustic strength of Cotswold stone walling.

High-end craftsmanship was the key to success and AF Jones Stone Interiors successfully delivered delicate carvings alongside the elegant construction of a Jerusalem Gold staircase set against the backdrop of Bath Stone walls.

The full works included walling, interior fluted columns alongside the pool with shower area, two cantilevered stone staircases and a carved Juliet balcony. AF Jones Stone Interiors showed their expertise and knowledge in site logistics, value creation and sourcing, enabling the client and architect to transform their original vision into a visually playful interior with a luxury and liveable feel.

Such was the emphasis on quality stone craftsmanship, the finished home and its stonemasonry won Highly Commended for AF Jones as Principal Stone Contractor and Stone Supplier in the Craftsmanship category of the Stone Federation’s Natural Stone Awards.
