Set in a classic rural setting with English gardens in Hampshire, AF Jones Stone Interiors worked to the original brief set by renowned designer Nina Tryon. This was a full refurbishment with Nina and the client approaching AF Jones at the early stages of design looking for bold, distinctive stone choices to match her signature style, with the marble as the focal point for the kitchen.

Our team identified and sourced Verde Cippolino, an Italian Marble with an ondulto finish. This marble is known for its green tones streaked with white veins offering a complexity and depth of texture and was the clear choice to provide a unique and stand-out focal point to the kitchen commensurate with Nina Tryon’s distinctive outlook and style.

The countertop and upstand were book-matched to enhance the appearance of the stone and the paint antiqued brass cupboard handles and other interior features were all selected to complement the worktop marble.

AFJ provided a complete service from design, templating, manufacture and installation. We also provided markups of the stone cuts for the client to approve and amend as part of our close working relationship with designer and client.
